This fine city church is a classic example of early 20th Century ecclesiastical architecture. Built from red brick the church was built to be functional for the growing population of Battersea after the industrial revolution. There was not a great deal of wealth in the area at the time so the church lacks some of the extra charm that other nearby churches exude. Despite this it is a popular and friendly Christian church.
