James Wolfe's Statue stands at the very top of Greenwich Park, close to the Royal Observatory. The huge piece represents one of the finest statesmen and military commanders ever to have lived in Britain. Wolfe is primarily remembered for his role of establishing British rule over the huge imperial province of Canada. Wolfe was regarded highly by his peers and rose to the rank of general quickly within the British Army which he loved so much.
