Streatham Green was originally part of Tooting Bec Manor Estate but has been managed by Lambeth Council Parks Authority since 1965. The Dyce Fountain that stands in the middle of the green was moved from the middle of Streatham High Street in 1933. The Green was re-landscaped in 2004 and is now one of the most popular places to meet and relax in the area.
