The Swiss Church in London was founded in 1762, and is a Reformed Protestant church. The church welcomes people of all Christian denominations, and holds sermons and events in English, German and French. The Swiss Church serves as both a regular congregational church and as a place where Swiss people living and working in London can go and meet each other and seek support. The current building in Endell Street was built in 1855, and recently received a £1 million donation from the businessman Andre Hoffmann in order to help with a restoration scheme.
