Often confused with the similarly named and nearby Bolton Square Gardens, these gardens are quite separate and quite unique. Interestingly these gardens are shaped in an oval offsetting the curves of the terraced houses on either side. They form the centre of an ancient and interesting area of Kensington on the border with Chelsea and have for centuries been a place of rest, relaxation and refuge for the people of the area from the busy London life.
