The Buddhapadipa Temple was the first of its type to be constructed in the United Kingdom and stands at the heart of a residential community close to both Wimbledon Village and Wimbledon Common. The temple, beautiful internally and externally, is home to a large Buddhist community who meet here to worship, meditate and take part in life affirming activities. Newcomers are encouraged on short and long retreats to the area.
