The Blackheath Conservatoire is a community arts centre. Founded in the 1880s by public subscription, it has been at the centre of musical and artistic life in south-east London ever since. Today, concerts are held here throughout the year. In addition, the Conservatoire offers a broad range of classes and workshops for all abilities and ages. They include holiday workshops for in art, music drama and dance and classes in drawing and painting, French, and English Literature.
