These restored Georgian buildings are home to 3,000 fans, and this is the only museum in the world dedicated to their history and manufacture. Some of the fans depict historic events; others are exhibited according to themes such as children or flowers. Highlights of the museum include beautiful murals in the Orangery and a Japanese garden complete with its own pond and stream. Fans can be purchased in the gift shop, and fan-making workshops are also available.
