Map
The French House is more than just a very good restaurant in Soho. As its name suggests, it has had much to do with Anglo-French relations over the last hundred years. It was the first port of call for the exiled French Government in the 1940s, and has had many famous French customers over the years. The venue has also become well known in literary circles, and has been frequented by many writers. It is famously the place that Dylan Thomas got drunk and accidentally left his manuscript for the classic Under Milkwood.
