One of the most spectacular facades in Chelsea, this building has a fascinating and colourful history. Notably it was the home and studio of the Russian Ballet impresario Princess Serafina Astafieva between 1916 and 1934. The building was once also a pub that legendary writer and poet Dylan Thomas drank in and was later the home of rock guitarist Eric Clapton. It is thought that it was a favourite place of King Charles II who visited regularly during his reign. The building has recently been converted into a popular pizza restaurant, so you can dine amongst the fascinating history and architecture.
