Located at the heart of South London’s most beautiful park, this art gallery offers a wide range of exhibitions throughout the year. Built in 1861 as a Victorian pump house, the building fell into disrepair after it was closed in the nineteen forties. Restored by English Heritage in 1985, the building was acquired by Wandsworth Council in 1991 and opened as a gallery. Since its foundation, the gallery has rapidly become one of the most well respected art venues in the capital.
