The pivotal role of the theatre for being the voice of new talent in the industry has lead it to being recently described by the New York Times as “the most important theatre in Europe.” When John Osborne’s ‘Look Back in Anger’ opened at the Royal Court in 1956, the theatre was born and has for many decades continued to be a groundbreaking force and creative leader in world theatre.
