The Shaftesbury is one of London’s premier theatres. Situated in the heart of the west end it has always been committed to staging the biggest and best shows in the capital, ranging from musicals to operettas and comedies. Built by Bertie Crewe in 1911, the theatre was originally known as The Princes Theatre. In 1963 the theatre changed its name to its current title.
