This theatre is undisputedly one of the world’s most beautiful. For nearly three hundred years the great auditorium has played host to the finest plays and actors from across the globe. The theatre is famous for staging breathtaking productions of the classics. Legend has it that the creaking wings of the stage are haunted by the ghost of Buckstone, a friend of Charles Dickens who likes to keep an eye on the goings on in his beloved Haymarket.
