With its disued tennis courts and small playground, this community green might easily be overlooked in favour of its more opulent neighbour Queen’s Park, which is just a minute down the road. But rugby, football and hurling all get the space they need here and it’s the perfect spot to let the dog loose. Adjoining the green is Queens Park Community School, which doubles as a centre for Brent Adult and Community Education Service (BACES) courses. The green is also sometimes referred to as Brondesbury and Kilburn Playing Field.
