Tower 42 is the tallest building in the City of London, and until the construction of Canary Wharf, was the tallest building in Britain. Long known as the NatWest tower, the skyscraper is cleverly designed to form the shape of the high-street bank’s insignia, although this feature can only be viewed from an aeroplane or by a satellite in space! Since NatWest moved from the tower, it has been used by many financial institutions, and now hosts some of London’s most famous restaurants and bars. It remains one of London’s most distinguished landmarks.
