Trafalgar Studios opened its doors in Spring 2004 with an RSC production of Othello. Since then the venue has continued to maintain links with the RSC, as well as showcasing innovative new writing. The theatre also operates a strong educational programme with schools workshops and post-show talks. Trafalgar Studios is comprised of two performance spaces, Studio 1 and the more intimate Studio 2 and is part of the Ambassadors theatre group and has been described as "a revolution for the West End" by the Daily Telegraph newspaper.
