Wilfred Blunt was a celebrated poet and author who was also an extremely controversial figure during the late 19th Century and early 20th Century. He lived a great deal of his adult life in this charming house opposite St. James' Park and close to the main entrance to Buckingham Palace. He spent some time in prison because of his open support for the Irish independence movement, however remained a well respected poet.
