William De Morgan made his name in London, originally operating out of Fitzroy Square but later moving to this fine mansion house in the heart of bustling Chelsea. He was a master potter and artist and he was well respected by his peers, helping others by allowing them to use his studios. His works are well over a hundred years later extremely valuable works of art.
