This mosque is one of the primary centres of worship for the Islamic community in southwest London. A relatively modern building, the mosque is of a traditional and simple white tiled design with two domed towers on the front of the building. The traditional green and white colours are used throughout the external design. In the heart of Wimbledon, the mosque is representative of the large Muslim community that lives and works in this part of London.
