  Don’t miss Wimbledon Village if you’re visiting Wimbledon. It’s the best thing about Wimbledon, and it really is like a village right in the middle of London. You can even go riding at Wimbledon Village Stables. It attracts visitors from far around, who seem to dress up for the occasion. Apart from a great range of village shops (some a bit expensive), there are excellent pubs, cafés and restaurants. My favourite is Piccolino, which is very good – and popular.
