Winston Churchill of course most famously resided at 10 Downing Street as Prime Minister of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for two terms, during the second World War and again in 1950. Churchill also lived in several other houses in London including this fine abode just a stones throw from Victoria Railway Station. Churchill was recently voted as 'the greatest Britain' by a BBC television poll.
