Woolwich Common is a n ancient and vast piece of public land in the south east London suburb of Woolwich. The area has for generations provided a place of rest and recreation for local and visiting people. The common is used to stage a great deal of visiting events such as fun fairs and circuses. Much of the time the land is used for sports and everyday exercise and relaxation.
