Woolwich Common is a vast area of public land on the edge of the south east London suburb next to the River Thames. The common has historically provided a place for local people to meet with each other and passing visiting traders. Today the common is primarily a place of rest and relaxation where sports are played throughout the year and people like to sit back, relax and watch the world go by.
