The Woolwich Section of the Thames Path is one of the more interesting sections of the river to walk along once out of the most central areas. The well signposted walk along the banks is unbroken for several miles on either side of Woolwich taking in some of the most fascinating man made and industrial sites on the riverside including the Thames Barrier, the Millennium Dome, Docklands high rise skyscrapers and much more.
