Benholm Mill is a fully restored working water-powered meal mill. It is located close to the ancient woodland area of Johnshaven, in the farmlands of Sunset Song country, made famous by Lewis Grassic Gibbon. It is now the only surviving mill of its type in the area, and worked partially until 1982, and then was fully restored and re-opened as a tourist attraction by Historic Scotland in 1986.
