This English Heritage site is located to the north of the small village of Creake in the beautiful Norfolk countryside, and is home to the ruined church of an Augustinian abbey. Once the abbey would have been one of the most important religious sites in the region, but after fire and flood the buildings were reduced in size, and finally fell into disrepair. There are some wonderful walks to be enjoyed around this area.
