Arthur`s Quoit is the name given to a Neolithic burial chamber located near Corsygedol above Talybont. It is said that King Arthur threw the capstone from a nearby mountain called Moelfre, and the indentations on the stone are the marks of his fingers. Only two upright stones and the large capstone remain from the chamber, which would have been enclosed in a rectangular cairn. Arthur`s Quoit lies alongside a lane and is accessible by car. It is also on the route of a fine, mainly woodland, walk from Talybont.
