Lying at sea level in the Dysynni Valley with views of Snowdonia`s mountains, Broad Water is a beautiful place to visit at any time of year. It is a fine place for bird watching and home for a variety of wetland birds. Cormorants may be seen flying up the valley to their inland nesting site on Craig yr Aderyn (Bird Rock). Broad Water lies about one mile north of Tywyn, and walks to it start from the lane beside St Cadfan`s Church, or through the old airfield.
