St Celynnin`s Church is a beautiful, isolated building set in remote uplands. The oldest part is the nave, which dates from the 14th Century, and there have been later additions, but little has changed since 1800. In a corner of the churchyard there is a well once renowned for healing sick children. There was once an inn nearby for people travelling though the mountains. The church can be reached by a short walk from the end of a lane south-west of Henryd, or a longer walk on footpaths from Rowen.
