The lofty ridge of Conwy Mountain offers superb views of Conwy and its castle, as well as across Conwy Bay to Llandudno and the Great Orme. All around are heather moors, and on the summit are the remains of an Iron Age hillfort which once contained about fifty huts. The highest point is 800 feet above sea level, and the easiest approach is from the car park at the top of Sychnant Pass. An alternative start is from Mountain Road off Cadnant Park in Conwy.
