The Conwy Valley Railway Museum houses an interesting collection of working models, train layouts, signalling equipment and miscellaneous items such as photographs and posters about railways. Layouts include a large one based on the Calder Valley Railway, and one based on an imaginary location in the Alps. There is a quarter full sized Britannia. Rides on the miniature steam railway are very popular with families, and rides are also available on a one-third full size electric tramcar.
