Corwen is a small town situated in the Dee Valley. In the square is a statue to Owain Glyndwr who lived neaby at Carrog. He started his rebellion here in 1400. Corwen has some interesting buildings, including a former workhouse and nearby is Rug Chapel with its carvings. Several walks, of various lengths, can be taken from the town.
