A few minutes walk from a car park on the A496, south of Blaenau Ffestiniog, brings you to an ancient bridge spanning Afon Goedol and the impressive Cymerau Waterfall. The nearby oak and birch wodlands are known for their wide range of mosses and lichens. There is a short circular walk passing Cymerau Isaf, a farmhouse which dates from the 16th Century. Downstream, Afon Goedol meets Afon Teigl and becomes Afon Dwyryd as it flows through the lovely Vale of Ffestiniog.
