Designed and built by Charles Henry Driver and James Brunlees and initially taking just one year to construct, Llandudno Pier opened in 1878. Lined with ornately decorated kiosks selling gifts, a café, bar and amusements, it is the ideal place to take a stroll and enjoy the sea air. During the summer, a Steam Packet boat docks here and sails to the Isle of Man on specially organised trips. With extensions and renovations over the years, today, the pier stretches for over 695 metres.
