Llanfair PG is located on the south side of Anglesey not far from Stephenson`s railway bridge. During the Victorian period it was given the longer name of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwll-llantysilio-gogogoch to attract visitors. Near the village stands the Marquess of Anglesey`s column which has more than 100 steps while a statue of Nelson stands on the Menai Strait.
