Anglesey once had over thirty working windmills and the island was known as the Granary of Wales. Some of them have been turned into homes but Llynnon Mill, after lying derelict for many years, has been fully restored and is the only working windmill in Wales. Visitors can tour the 18th Century mill and see the milling process. Everything is operated by wind power. Stoneground flour is on sale and its products can be sampled in the nearby tearoom.
