On the hillside above the coastal path in the village of Moelfre on Anglesey is a modern visitor`s centre explaining the rich maritime history of the area. The centrepiece is an unsinkable lifeboat and around it is an exhibition about the local lifeboat crews. Several ships have wrecked in the nearby coastal waters and some of their poignant artefacts are on display. Visitors can also watch a smal screen audio-visual show about the coast`s wildlife.
