Sheltered by two massive headlands, this popular, sand and shingle beach is backed by an elegant, wide promenade. Families are well catered for and there is a large paddling pool on the promenade near its eastern end. Punch and Judy shows entertain children near the pier every day in the summer months, and donkey rides on the beach are often available. Local boatmen offer short boat trips around the Great Orme from the jetties near the pier.
