All roads to Beddgelert are scenic, but no visitor to the village should miss the dramatic Aberglaslyn Pass.. At the narrowest point, the road and River Glaslyn are hemmed in by wooded hillsides 700 feet high. There is a lay-by where the valley widens, and motorists can leave their cars to view the river from the west bank. Those who are agile can follow the rocky Fisherman`s Path along the east side of the ravine from Beddgelert to Pont Aberglaslyn.
