Penycloddiau
Near Denbigh, Denbighshire LL16 - Wales, UK

Map
Penycloddiau is a heather and bilberry covered hill containing the largest Iron Age hill fort in the Clwydian range. Although little remains, apart from the ramparts, the walk to the summit is well worthwhile and, in clear visibility, there are breathtaking views in all directions. The shortest route to the summit is by footpath from a car park south of the hill, near the lane that crosses the ridge from Nannerch in the Wheeler valley to the Vale of Clwyd.
