Porth Dinllaen is a picturesque, tiny, coastal hamlet on the Lleyn peninsula. Now owned by the National Trust, there were plans in the early 1800s for it to be the ferry terminal for Ireland. Fortunately, Holyhead won the vote. Access is on foot from the car park at Morfa Nefyn, by following the right of way through the golf course or walking along the beach. Seals may be spotted from the headland. The Ty Coch Inn stands close to the beach, and public toilets are nearby.
