Rhyl is a seaside resort located at the mouth of the River Clwyd on the north Wales coast. It is the largest town in Denbighshire. Visitors first came here in the 19th Century by paddle steamer from Liverpool and then by railway. There is a two mile promenade with many family attractions. A path beside the River Clwyd leads to the medieval Rhuddlan Castle.
