Established in 1882, the Royal Cambrian Academy of Art is one of only five academies of art in Britain, and the only one in Wales, therefore occupying an important position on the cultural map for the nation. Devoted to the furthering of Welsh visual arts, the academy shows the works of its hundred plus member artists as well as visiting and further flung painters and sculptors. This unique environment always offers an exciting and inspiring place of artistic expression.
