St Digain’s Church
Llangernyw, St Asaph, Denbighshire LL22 - Wales, UK

Map
Home to exceptionally bright stained glass windows, the beautiful church of St Digain’s is also famous for its churchyard. In pride of place it contains one of the oldest yew trees in the world with an estimated age of just over 4000 years, calculated using a formula based on the girth of the tree. On the south side of the church lie two large 6th century monoliths which are believed to mark the grave of an early Christian.
