Reputed to cure skin complaints and other ailments, this holy well was much visited in byegone days. In the 18th Century, the bath was paved with marble and changing rooms were built around it. The water issues from a rock and falls into the well below. Its healing powers were said to come from St Dyfnog who lived in the 6th Century, and did penance by standing under the waterfall. The buildings have gone but the bath and waterfall remain. A path at the end of the churchyard leads through woodland to the well.
