Known as one of the Seven Wonders of Wales, St Giles commands a dominant position overlooking the town of Wrexham. With a church in Wrexham since the 13th Century, St Giles has seen many reconstructions over the years but now truly deserves its landmark status. With a 16th Century ‘Doom Painting’ over the east wall depicting the Day of Judgement, a brass eagle lectern dating from 1524 and a decorative organ built by Foster and Andrews of Hull, a trip to the town wouldn’t be complete without a visit.
