In a tranquil setting hidden from view by a picturesque fish pond, lies St Seriol’s Well. This holy well was built by the monks of Penmon and believed by the many pilgrims who visited to have special healing powers. Enclosed within a small stone building, the lower part of which is thought to date back to early Christian times and would have been the location for many baptisms and religious services.
