Llandudno Bay is gently sheltered by two mountains called the Little Orme and the Great Orme. The name ‘Orme’ is said to have derived from a Norse word for sea serpent as it juts out into the sea. At over 680 feet high, it is home of the Great Orme Copper Mines, Tudno Church and the destination of the Llandudno Tramway and is also the residence of over 100 Kashmiri Goats whose ancestors were originally presented to Queen Victoria by the Shah of Persia.
