Trefriw is a village located on the western side of the Conwy Valley. There is a woollen mill which is operated by hyrdoelectric tubines. North of the village stands Trefriw Spa which Victorians visited by paddle steamer from Conwy. Above Trefriw are several lakes and the village is the starting point for riverside and woodland walks.
